Habitat for Humanity Northern and Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST are pleased to announce they are partnering together as the new Healthy Homes Providers for Noho Ᾱhuru – Healthy Homes.
By bringing together community partners from both the health and housing sectors, Habitat for Humanity Northern and Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST are ensuring a wraparound service that will make homes warmer and healthier across Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Waitemata.
Noho Ᾱhuru- Healthy Homes is a free service which aims to support families with insulation, ventilation, WINZ entitlements, emergency grants, budgeting services, curtains, bedding, heating, and minor repairs.
Habitat for Humanity Northern CEO Conrad LaPointe said, “Habitat for Humanity feel privileged to work alongside Te Puna Manawa and be entrusted to deliver such an important service for whanau. This is a highly targeted service that has been designed to maximise the health and housing outcomes for those most acutely affected.”
