Creating safe and healthy homes, together

We are incredibly excited to announce our partnership with AMI. A partnership formed on the mutual goal of building safer, stable, more resilient communities through shelter. AMI is one of New Zealand’s largest insurers and has been protecting homes for over 90 years. They know more than most the risk that can come with living in sub-standard housing.

Collectively, Habitat’s work in New Zealand will improve the lives of thousands of Kiwi families living in substandard housing and we are thrilled to have AMI’s support to help us achieve this.

Kickstarting 33 whānau on their home ownership journey

We have partnered with the Government under the Progressive Home Ownership programme to build 33 homes in the Waikato, Nelson and Auckland regions over the next 18 months!

We are extremely proud to be working alongside families in a practical way to help them achieve housing security and stability. Ultimately, this is about empowering them to build a solid foundation for their whanau.
