Volunteers are at the heart of Habitat for Humanity’s mission; here in New Zealand, and around the world.
No previous experience neccessary – just a willingness to get involved, connect with your local commuinty and lend a helping hand.

Here are just some of the ways many ways you can get involved with Habitat!

We also welcome groups from workplaces, community organisations and schools for volunteering days.

Global Village

Global Village is our international volunteer programme bringing teams of people together to build and improve homes all around the world.  A Global Village trip offers the opportunity to travel to another country to work hand-in-hand with people around the world to help build simple, decent homes.

Covid-19 restrictions mean our Global Village programme is sadly on hold until further notice.
You can still register your interest for future trips by emailing globalvillage@habitat.org.nz and we will keep you informed with updates as we know more.
