Jonathan and Leroy have been volunteering at Habitat for Humanity Invercargill and an opportunity for both of these amazing young men to participate to also come and volunteer when we travel in July to go to Fiji to build a home for a family in need using our platform of global village.
Both Leroy and Jonathan have limited income and have both been fundraising to be able to reach their goal of $2011.00 each so they can cover their own costs.
Habitat for Humanity are a fully inclusive charity that looks at individuals strengths not what they cannot achieve. Both Leroy and Jonathan live with disabilities and we really are wanting them to be given opportunities that they can learn from and also feel like they are able themselves to have a role and purpose in their lives. All money raised will go towards making sure their costs are covered for the trip. We will share our story on our website on completion of the project. We appreciate your support to help Leroy and Jonathan’s dream become reality.
All funds raised will be used to cover costs for Leroy and Jonathon. Any surplus funds will be used to assist the rest of the 13 individuals that are also attending the Global Village project in Fiji.
