Volunteer – donate your time and make a difference
Habitat ReStore relies on volunteers – without them we simply could not open the doors.
You’re sure to find a volunteer role that would appeal at the ReStore. Volunteer roles include:
- Serving donors and customers;
- Sorting, appraising and pricing incoming goods;
- Presenting goods for sale;
- Testing electrical goods;
- Doing truck pick-ups and deliveries;
- Restoring furniture;
- Managing TradeMe sales;
- Entering administration data;
- Monitoring customer safety.
- And most importantly, sharing lots of energy, smiles and laughter!
There is a role suitable for almost anyone with minimum levels of physical fitness and mobility.
All your good work will help Habitat build homes for families in Christchurch and overseas.
Donate – we’ll sell your pre-loved goods
We would love to accept your donations of second hand items in good condition.
All sales generate funds to support Habitat’s building programmes for families in need, while reducing the amount of used materials in overflowing landfills. It’s a good deal for you, the community and the environment.
