Kew Bowl Housing Development
Habitat for Humanity Invercargill are the proud owners of the Kew Bowl site on Elles Road, Invercargill.
Once owned by the Council, the site is being turned into a mixed-use housing development by Habitat Invercargill to help combat housing shortages in the City and provide housing solutions for families.
Our plans are to build affordable, sustainable homes that are 6 + on the HomeStar rating. Emphasis will be on energy efficiency using a combination of green technology and future-proof design elements.
We will be looking to increase the number of people we can give a Hand Up to, through our Progressive Home Ownership programme.
We look forward to collaborating with the wide range of experts within in organisations such as the Invercargill City Council, Southland Housing Action Forum (SHAF) members, community funders and interested philathropists.
