Youth from across the world shared at the #APHousingForum Youth Congress for 2021. Sixteen speakers from Asia and the Pacific discussed their views on “building forward better for inclusive housing.”
Our very own, Taylor Kennard (Habitat Youth Leadership Board representative), opened the forum with a mihi and introduction. She shared about the highlights of being involved on the Youth Leadership Board, “A highlight includes some of the highly insightful training from the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) where we have gained a variety of skills and knowledge. These are not only beneficial for leadership but also for day to day life.”
The Youth Leaders also crafted a Youth Declaration around the topic of “building forward better for inclusive housing.” This was presented at the main Asia-Pacific Housing forum on December 7-8.
