Habitat for Humanity New Zealand congratulates new Mt Roskill representative, Mr Michael Wood, MP for being sworn into parliament on 8th February 2017.

A long term supporter and previous member of the Habitat for Humanity New Zealand team, Mr Wood highlighted in his maiden speech the importance of address housing. This is particularly the case for Auckland and other major cities where the devastating effects of housing unaffordability are mostly felt.

Habitat commends Mr Wood for his attention to this area and looks forwards to working together to achieve the vision of a New Zealand where everyone has a decent place to live.
