HABITAT NORTHERNVOLUNTEER WITH HABITAT NORTHERN

Become a local volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity. We always have projects on the go, and with six ReStores, a Curtain Bank and build team days in our region there are always volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteering offers a great way to meet new people, develop new skills and give back to your community. Every volunteer plays an integral role in helping to provide homes and hope for kiwis in housing need.

If you’re interested, please fill in our enquiry form below.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Habitat for Humanity NZ partners with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards to create positive and lasting change in the lives of New Zealanders. The award is open to anyone between the ages of 14-24 and young people design their own Award programmes, set their own goals and record their own progress.

Habitat has a range of volunteering opportunities that participants can chose from and set their own goals to suit.
