Habitat offers a hand up, not a hand out through all its work. Families invest whatever is within their ability to make a better life for themselves, while showing a willingness to partner with Habitat.


Freeman Court

Independent living facility, in the heart of Te Awamutu

Established in 1979 by the community, for the community, Freeman Court is not a rest home or retirement village, but a place that provides services to support independent living for seniors.

Freeman Court extends its support to the local community by offering delivery of nutritious hot meals, five days a week for $9 per meal.
