Volunteer team help Manukau pastor set-up alcohol and drug drop-in centre
Habitat for Humanity Northern Region along with a small army of volunteers helped to paint the interior of a new Alcohol and Drug Drop-in Centre in Otara.
This is being set up by Joshua, a local pastor who knows first-hand the devastating effects alcohol and drugs have in our communities. Joshua is the Pastor of the Upper Room tabernacle based in Southmall, Manurewa and is passionate about helping alcoholics and addicts with setting up a centre where effected people can go for free counselling, meetings and refreshments with non-judgemental, compassionate help.
